can ur friend be the wedding photographer?

rule number one here is NEVER, NEVER get ur friend to be the official photographer( even if he or she begs u )...unless if u don't mind ending up as enemies...wedding photography is big business so u should get a professional to do it... but if ur friend really insists, perhaps to be tactful u could suggest that he or she take personal shots of u and ur spouse after the wedding....
